Outstanding First Year Growth

We've had an outstanding first year establishing our organization with excellent reactions from our local Reno community. We can afford ice time locally and even have a sponsored "E" level team! As we grow, we're excited to add tournaments, higher skill level teams, and give back to our local community.

Who Can Join?

Reno Veteran Hockey welcomes all veterans from every branch of service, regardless of hockey experience.

All Veterans Welcome

Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force veterans are all welcome.

Any Skill Level

From beginners to experienced players, we have a place for everyone on the ice.

Age Requirements

Open to veterans of all ages. We have divisions for different age groups and skill levels.

Annual Membership Dues

To support our growing organization and expand opportunities, we've established annual membership dues.

Do I need hockey experience?

Not at all! We welcome players of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced players. We'll help you learn and improve your skills.

What if I don't have equipment?

We can help connect you with equipment sources and provide guidance on what you'll need. Some loaner equipment may be available for new players.

How much does membership cost?

Annual membership dues are $100 per year per member. For 2025, it's prorated to $50 due by July 1st. Starting in 2026, $100 will be due January 1st each year. These dues cover administrative costs, taxes, and QuickBooks.

How can I pay my dues?

You can pay via Venmo (@Reno-Veteran-Hockey), check made out to "Reno Veteran Hockey", or cash (paid only to Kelly Cavins).

When do you play?

We typically have practices and games throughout the week, including our sponsored "E" level league team. Check our schedule page for current times and upcoming events.

What are the future plans for RVH?

We're excited to grow! We're looking to add tournaments, higher skill level teams in Reno, and use our organization's funds to give back to our local community and non-profit organizations.
